Civil Litigation:

• Personal injury.  Car/bike/semi/pedestrian accidents.  Slip and fall accidents.  Premises liability cases.  Products liability.  If you or a loved one was injured as a result of another’s negligence, I can help.
• Contract disputes.  Perform services for someone and “the check is in the mail”?  Pay someone who didn’t deliver?  Have any other kind of contract issue?  Let’s talk.
• Insurance.  Have a claim?  Need to know what your insurance policy really says and what it covers?  I’ve spent years working for and with some of the largest domestic and international insurance companies on the planet – on both sides.  If you have an insurance issue or question, I have likely dealt with it more than once already.
• Wrongful death.  If someone passes away as a result of the negligence of another, certain loved ones left behind may be entitled to make a claim for compensation.

Real Estate:

• Property dispute?  Did a deal go south?  Need someone to look over or draft documents for you?  In addition to practicing law, I maintain an active Arizona real estate license and assist clients with both commercial and residential deals.

Mediations/Arbitrations:

• Having worked for twenty years on both sides of the plaintiff/defendant divide as well as a history working in chambers for both state and federal judges, I’ve earned a solid reputation with clients, colleagues, adversaries, adjusters, and others.  I acted as a former judge pro tem for Maricopa County.  I am available for mediations and arbitrations in civil cases throughout Arizona.

A Little More Just For Fun

• I’m an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot.  (Great for aerial shots of accident scenes, real estate aerial shots, etc.). I also fly actual airplanes for fun, though I am still technically a “student pilot”.
• I am a volunteer soccer coach in the Phoenix Rising recreational league.  I’m in my fourth season and currently have a great group of kindergarten boys.

My goal is to help you achieve your goals–and get you wherever it is you need (or want) to go.  I don’t work well with the one-size-fits-all approach to the law because every client and every legal issue is unique.

A little more about me.

I have been practicing law since 2004.  Prior, I worked in chambers for four different judges in Illinois, Indiana, and Arizona.  I’ve represented some of the largest companies and insurers in the world, and I’ve handled cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. I’ve handled cases ranging from “fender bender” property damage to wrongful death and traumatic brain injury cases.

I’ve gone to trial in both state and federal court.  I’ve argued at all levels, including at the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco.  If you have a civil legal issue, there is a good chance I’ve seen it before.
